Nev's Mini Bottles
Under Constant Construction...(last updated 7/5/24)
Neville Rich
1928 - 2020
More than 10,000 bottles lovingly collected from around the world over six decades...
Our father, Neville Rich, was a collector! He collected stamps; he collected Stueben glasswork; but most of all, he collected miniature bottles. Starting when he was in the Army stationed in France, Neville bought mini-bottles wherever he went. And his friends did too. He carefully sealed and cataloged them all. The collection grew and grew, with unique bottles from all corners of the globe. Eventually, the Den in our house had to be doubled in size in order to fit the floor to ceiling cabinets of bottles. And the duplicates (hundreds of them) were in shoe boxes in the basement. When our parents sold the house we grew up in, most of the bottles went into storage in San Francisco.
Now, after his passing, and with no realistic or appropriate way to display the thousands of bottles, we are going to sell most of them. We hope interested buyers will get as much joy from them as our dad did.
We are currently a little more than half way through photographing the collection (or samples from boxes). Not all of the ones shown here are available, but there are many, many more in boxes that are not shown!
Minimum purchase: $100, plus shipping. Entire collection or alcohol types available for purchase also, at discounted price. Most bottles are at least 20 years old. To express your interest, please email: nevsbottles@gmail.com
